Pottery on the Wheel: Level 2 (Tues. Sept. 2025)
By popular demand, we are introducing a new course for those looking to continue the momentum in their ceramics journey! The Pottery on the Wheel: Level 2 workshop is open to those who have completed a minimum of two pottery workshops in the past or an equivalent amount of training (36 hours.) Must be comfortable with centering and throwing cylinders. This 6 week program will provide 18 hours of instruction time with renowned ceramicist, Ralph Seely, to build on your previous learning.
Participants have the option of purchasing a 25-pound sleeve of clay ($35) from the arts centre in advance, at the time of the workshop with the option to buy more if desired, or bring their own. If bringing your own clay, please contact SJAC before the workshop to confirm that it is safe for our kiln.

Ralph Seely
Ralph Seely, a graduate of the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design, is a professional potter who focuses on creating functional pottery intended for everyday use.
He is inspired by the natural surroundings where he lives; the powerful ocean, flowing rivers and the changing colours that paint the landscape of Southern New Brunswick. His goal is to bring each piece to life its own unique way.
