I am delighted to introduce myself as the new Executive Director of the Saint John Arts Centre. It is an honour to step into this role and contribute to the vibrant, creative energy that defines our community. I look forward to building on the meaningful work already underway and supporting the artists, partners, and audiences who make SJAC such a vital cultural home.

I come to the Centre with almost two decades of experience working for non-profits helping to strengthen impact and expand reach. My work has always centered on connection–helping people find belonging and building partnerships that strengthen community life and I am excited to bring this passion to the arts community here at home. I am truly fortunate to be working alongside the talented staff, dedicated board, and the many artists, creators, and supporters who make the Centre such a special place.

In the coming year, my focus will be on deepening our community relationships, expanding opportunities for local artists, and ensuring the Arts Centre continues to be a welcoming place for all.

I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate the outgoing executive director, Andrew Kierstead, on his retirement and to thank him for his extraordinary work leading the Centre over the last 14 years.
