Description
Level Two: Continue Wheel Throwing
This 6-week class builds on the fundamental skills learned in the Beginner Pottery class. What each student learns will depend on their skill level at the start of the course. Students will focus on refining their skills while creating a variety of pieces, which may include mugs, bowls, vases, plates, and lidded jars. This class is designed for students who are already able to throw a small 4” cylinder on their own.
(**Students are asked to take at least two Level One courses before registering for a Level Two workshop.)
Participants have the option of purchasing a 25-pound sleeve of clay ($35) from the arts centre in advance, at the time of the workshop with the option to buy more if desired, or bring their own. If bringing your own clay, please contact SJAC before the workshop to confirm that it is safe for our kiln.
