Teens Intro to Acrylics (July. 2026)
Discover the fundamentals of acrylic painting in this fun and welcoming workshop designed especially for teens. Participants will explore colour mixing, brush techniques, composition, and layering while creating their own original paintings on canvas. Through step-by-step instruction and creative experimentation, teens will build confidence in their artistic skills while developing their own personal style.
No previous painting experience is needed — just bring your creativity and willingness to try something new! All materials are included.

Erica Thorne
Based in Saint John, New Brunswick, Erica Thorne is an artist who creates vibrant landscapes and botanical artworks that instantly captivate the eye in an impressionist style. Her signature style pairs flowing lines with rich, lively colours, ensuring her artwork remains visually engaging whether viewed from across a room or up close. Moving effortlessly between large-scale canvases and small-scale pieces, Erica draws inspiration from the local scenery and native flora of her home province. Bringing a unique multi-disciplinary background to her practice, Erica obtained a Foundation of Visual Arts Certificate from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design (NBCCD), followed by a Diploma in Jewellery and Metal Arts from NBCCD in 2022.
