Teens Pottery on the Wheel (August. 2026)

Description

This Pottery on the Wheel is a fun and creative introduction to wheel throwing! Teens will learn the basics of centering clay, shaping forms on the pottery wheel, trimming, and glazing their own handmade pieces. Perfect for beginner to intermediate teen artists looking to explore ceramics in a supportive studio environment.

Participants may purchase a 25-pound sleeve of clay from the Arts Centre for $35 either in advance or at the beginning of the workshop.
