Theresa MacKnight: Pivotal Moment
Artist Talk and Tour of the Paintings.
Saturday November 14th at 1:30 pm.
Saint John Art Centre – Port Saint John Gallery.
Theresa MacKnight is a well known artist and teacher of art based in St Andrews, NB. She has been exploring new approaches to her painting in recent years leading up to this important exhibition. She has kindly volunteered to come and tell us more about the inspiration behind her work as well as share her discoveries about composition and colour that underlie these magical paintings.
This will be an informal talk while moving around the gallery with opportunity for discussion. There will be some chairs for those who like to sit down. This has been organized by the Saint John Art Club in conjunction with the Saint John Arts Centre and is open to the public.
We are very grateful to Theresa for agreeing to make the trip and give us some valuable artistic instruction. After the talk you are invited to spend more time with the paintings and visit five other wonderful exhibitions at the centre. To avoid the front steps the Arts Centre is accessible through the back door in the parking lot off Carlton Street or by the ramp on the side of the building.
