Level Three: Intermediate Wheel Throwing
This 6-week class is geared toward students with previous experience working with clay. Students who have only completed the Beginner Pottery course are encouraged to take the Continued Wheel Throwing class before registering for this course. This class is intended for students who can work independently and are comfortable throwing at least 3 pounds of clay. Students will choose the projects and skills they wish to focus on, with guidance from our instructor.
(**Students are asked to take at least two Level Two courses before registering for the Level Three workshop.)
Participants have the option of purchasing a 25-pound sleeve of clay ($35) from the arts centre in advance, at the time of the workshop with the option to buy more if desired, or bring their own. If bringing your own clay, please contact SJAC before the workshop to confirm that it is safe for our kiln.
