Carnegie Colours, the Saint John Arts Centre’s group of painters in residence, is looking for new members. This group of professional/amateur artists have been gathering in our Percival Studio on Thursday mornings from 9am-12pm, from September to May since 2014.
There is no structured format: Each artist paints in their own medium, from their own images, supplies their own materials, and each is responsible to pay the Art Centre a weekly nominal fee to cover the room rental and other services which the Art Centre may provide.
The members of Carnegie Colours are friendly and social. “We feel privileged to be able to paint in this wonderful venue.” The Percival Gallery, with its South facing windows let in bright morning sunlight, providing the room with light and shadow, creating a perfect studio to work in.
